Hand-delivered to Bridget Phillipson, Secretary of State for Education. Signed by 22 SEND campaign groups and individuals — including actress and campaigner Anna Maxwell Martin — it set out the specific trauma experienced by SEND children navigating SATs every year.

In partnership with actress and campaigner Kellie Bright, we asked SEND families to share their SATs experiences in real time. What followed was an outpouring of over 600 personal accounts — every one consistent with what we'd written nine months before.
